Sunday 7/6:
Sunday I ended up going to Ghibli museum again, together with some YSEP students, Japanese friends and Kojiro.
You are of course allowed to take pictures outside the museum, even if you can’t take them inside, and since the wheatear was actually nice this time I got a lot of nice pictures. There is for example a small garden on top the roof with this gentle giant standing guard.

Then there was of all things a Ghibli beer to be bought in the outside café.

After visiting the museum we went to a park close by. I don’t remember the name, but it was in walking distance from the museum, and a little different from other parks I have encountered in Japan so fare. There were a lot of entertainers, young people (not in a teenager Shibuya, Harajuku way), originals and people selling stuff on the street. Like manga (cartoons) for example, while reading loud from it, with voices of course.
After that again, we went to see Tokyo’s only Finnish restaurant. Or, it turned out to be more of a bar than a restaurant, except that all the Finnish beer was sold out, and so was half of the dishes to. The theme was sauna or cabin interior. That is lightwood colour, decorated with every thinkable peculiar Finnish nip nap you can imagine. Including a blinking Tinkerbell snow globe (not especially Finnish). I learned new thinks about my neighbouring country food traditions and we probably gave a few Japanese people a weird impression of Scandinavia, all inn all a successful day ^^
